Abigail said Riley Sager is another author that I absolutely adore. I will devour anything he writes. Like my other recommendations his novels have everything I could ever want; mystery, suspense, murder, with a touch of romance.

Abigail said I'm obsessed with the setting of this book, it's almost its own character. The plot is great and has you guessing until the very end. As always with my favorite books it has thrills, chills, romance, and supernatural elements.

Abigail said This book took me a little bit to get sucked in but once I was there was no going back. I'm a huge fan of the classic "Turn of the Screw" and this is a fresh and very modern take on that.

Abigail said Everyone and their mother has read this book and there's a reason for that. Owens perfectly paints a picture of southern bayou living. I'm pretty good at guessing the ending of books early on in books but this one really had my questioning my theories until the very end.
